The impact of our project looks to:
- people who directly experience the problem (pedagogical and technical teams and learners in schools)
- people who indirectly deal with the problem (all the elements of the school the community in general)
- potential agents of change (partner organizations and key stakeholders) who can influence the people and the conditions that contribute to the problem
What we expect to achieve:
- enhancement of the ability to deliver solutions through the usage of restorative practices
- adoption of mechanisms for improving student behavior and reducing the need for suspensions
- capacity to prevent conflict;
- ability to repair damaged relationships;
- development of opportunities for students to take responsibility and accountability for their actions, and face the impact of their behavior on others
- improvement of educational achievement
- reduction of exclusionary discipline incidents that can ultimately lead to drop out school
- increase of safety and wellbeing
- prevention of negative feelings of fear, anger and blame
- prevention of stigmatization and social exclusion
